Refund Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This policy explains when a refund is available, how the minimum term works, and how to cancel. It sits alongside our Terms of Service, which remain the governing document.
The short version: you have fourteen days from sign up to change your mind and get your money back. After that, the three month minimum commitment applies.
1. Your fourteen day right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, customers based in the UK who purchase as consumers rather than in the course of business have the right to cancel within fourteen days of sign up and receive a full refund.
To exercise that right, notify us in writing through theleadhaus.io/contact within fourteen days of your sign up date. You do not need to give a reason.
Two exceptions apply, both required by the regulations themselves. The right does not apply where lead generation or outreach activity has already been performed at your request inside the fourteen day window, or where you have expressly waived the right in order to start immediately.
Approved refunds are processed within fourteen working days of cancellation, to the original payment method.
2. After the fourteen days
Once the fourteen day window has passed, the three month minimum commitment applies and refunds are not issued for that period.
We are direct about this because we would rather you knew before you signed than felt caught out afterwards. Lead generation compounds: the first month builds the foundation, the second optimises the sequences, and meaningful response volume usually arrives from the third month onwards. Judging the system on a fortnight is not a fair test of it, and a shorter commitment would not give the work time to produce what you signed up for.
3. Cancelling after the minimum term
After three months, your subscription continues on a rolling monthly basis. Either party may cancel with thirty days written notice, given through your account settings or our contact page.
No refunds are issued for partial months following cancellation. Your campaigns continue to run through the notice period, so you receive the service you have paid for.
4. What you take with you
Every contact generated for your business belongs to you. On cancellation you receive a clean export of your entire database, with no charge and no obstruction.
We retain a copy only for bounce suppression and audit compliance as required under UK law, and it is never reused for another client.
5. If something has gone wrong
If you are unhappy with the service, tell us before you decide anything. Most problems are fixable, and we would rather correct the work than lose a client quietly.
Where we have genuinely failed to deliver what was agreed, we will put it right at our own cost. That is handled case by case rather than by a formula, and it is judged honestly.
6. Failed payments
If a payment fails we will attempt to take it again and notify you. Where an account remains unpaid, campaigns are paused rather than deleted, so nothing is lost while the payment issue is resolved. Extended non payment may result in account closure in line with our Terms of Service.
7. Questions
If anything here is unclear, ask before you sign up rather than after. Contact us through theleadhaus.io/contact and you will get a straight answer.
